GeoVisions was founded in 2001, and our offices were established in the small town of Chesterfield, New Hampshire, just a few miles from the communities of Brattleboro and Putney, Vermont. This area has educational institutions and community organizations that have trained and supported international managers, language teachers, and aid workers since the mid 1950’s. The first training programs for the US Peace Corps were developed in this area. Our location, just two hours from Boston, three and a half hours from New York, and four hours from Montreal, allows us to draw on resources we need from these internationally-minded metropolitan centers.
In 2006, GeoVisions began sending volunteers, au pairs and teachers abroad from our office located in historic Guilford, Connecticut.  Guilford was founded in 1639 and our office sits on the historic Guilford Green and is 1 mile from Guilford’s working harbor along the shoreline of Connecticut.  We sit 15 minutes from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and 2 hours from Boston and 90 minutes from New York City.  In 2013 the GeoVisions Foundation was established, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting global volunteer efforts.  The Foundation is located in the same Guilford, CT office.
